DJIA prediction? A few more ups and downs, then a slow slide down by a few K points. This doom thing is just starting to gain traction in the media.
OMFG, typokey is so frelled, and Jim’s refusal to police the sandbox has led to pollution of the same sandbox.

JR, OK these are just housekeeping items. I wonder where the stuff went I posted and what exactly it was that I said? Did you view them? Anyway, housekeeping is a major bitch. Anyone who wants to appreciate the second law and the amount of energy it takes to keep entropy at bay should just try being maid for the day, plus handyman for the day, dishwasher for the day, cook for the day, but i digress. “Oh, I’m ‘just a house[mate]‘,my significant other is the bread winner. OK, enough. What are we supposed to be addressing here? The Stock Market and the DOW?

Predicting the DOW. That’s easy! Since I am a total loser with the DOW and with stocks, I predict DOW 12000 or lower by year’s end. That means my 401K will lose money, because the balance was placed there in “happier daz” and inflation will take another 15 to 20% off that amount. Thankfully, I have most of it in one of the insurance funds, and they guarantee a floor on losses (as I recall?). The rest, in ING, is going no place. ING are total losers. Aetna sold out to them and got out before the cards started to fall. I should have also. I’m a dummy when it comes to money. scott is a friggin’ genius. JR, help!

JR here. Doom – did I ever answer your question about what Zulu Kilo means?
the Dow? It will be somewhere between 11,400 and 11,500 on June 26th. I’m just guessing. My crystal ball ain’t so crystal clear.
