The first ever twilight Gran Prix. The lighting is simply awesome. Thank You Australia. Thank You God.
There is nothing that desricbes our world better than Richard Branson on the opening grid doing interviews. Out of nowhere he started sponsoring the Brawn team. Literally 2 days ago. The Virgin logo was not on the cars during Thursday Practice. It was small during yesterday’s qualifying. Very weird in a “down” economy.
Absolutely bizarre. The weirdest part is that the SPEEDtv coverage is sponsered by Acura. They really believe people are stupid. Are people stupid?
KERS is deadly. There are markers on the KERS cars for safety workers. This is an unknown.
Awesome start. Now watch Massa and Kimi take him down. Don’t forget Vettel. The Brawn car can’t possibly win against this onslaught.
My boy Vettel leads the chase. The SPEED guys are all into him now. It’s true, everybody has been, including me. Why? I should read my own writing. I should watch CNBC.
So I will reverese and fuck with you here. The glory being heaped on Vettel in the opening laps, happens every other year or so. Last tim eit happened? With Button? With Jacques Villeneuve? Have to defer to Bif on this one. I’m pretty sure it was Button. Everybody thought he was going to be the goldenboy back in _____?
Look at Hamilton.
Massa is God.
I rag on these guys, but honestly. Without SPEEDtv, my life would suck. or at least it would be like it was before I had SPEEDtv. It would suck. Except for those brief periods where I had women to guide me. And make my life hell.
That was a cheap shot. I’m awhiney bitch.
Awesome. The lighting makes every lap totally different now. Somebody should have come up with this idea before. Only the Aussies.
Halfway through.
Massa is God. Ferrari 1-2.
Lap 22. Who the fuck is “Steve”? SPEEDtv needs to reign this guy in, or at least keep kim from drinking on race day. Nice…

My weekend is not over because Felippe’s whatever shit the bed. I am not even angry. Massa raced superior. Nice Job, Felippe. Fuck the rest opf these people. fuck them.

Massa just pulled into the pit.
Looks like he’s done. What happened?

It was Kubica’s fault. Vettel is in the clear. It is fucking outrageous that the commenters would inbitially try to target Vettel based on (only) on his apology. Vettel is 21 years old. He is the most standup guy ever in F1 history. I watched that clip, probably 100 times. Slow. My family hates me. Vettel and Massa drove the fuck out of that race.
Let’s be serious. You hate me because I am Tifosi and I support black people’s right to live. Fuck off. Audi always wins. You are a scumsucker.

Button looked and even sounded like Tony Blaire when talking about his struggles toward the end of the race. There must be a factory somewhere in the UK that squeezes these guys out.
Barichello was trying to sell that the diffuser didn’t make a difference. What do you think, fellas? (I’ll need to go back and review the telemetry before commenting further. Same goes for the KERS impact.)
Hamilton ground it out and got 4th place points.
I’ll be expecting an executive summary regarding anticipated Ferrari adjustments going forward.
I had no idea DirecTv even included SPEED until I finally, err… tracked it down on channel 607.

Holmes, glad it wasn’t you. One less LA lawyer: http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/03/28/louisiana.lawyer.slain/index.html
Well, LA is both a city and a state, and a state of mind.

I’ll be over on F1W. I’m not upset. I think Ferrari finished well for the circumstances.
I back Vettel now more than ever and I have a new enemy. I never liked Kubica. He was always weird. Plus he’s polish. I’m polish. Bu the is weird.

“… the US can no longer be viewed as an unambiguous champion of unfettered globalisation and associated international political processes. For one thing, there has been a marked worldwide decline in respect for the US unlikely to be reversed simply by the arrival of a new administration in Washington that constrains US influence. For another, aside from the impact of domestic politics in the US, there is also what might be called the paradox of globalisation: the fact that the US benefits from globalisation comparatively less than others, which (especially Europe and Asia) stand to gain far more. It is unclear to what extent such considerations influence US strategic thinking.”
Ha ha, riotous coming from Economist Intelligence Unit.
Time for me to crash.

Hahhahhaaahhha! Best ever. Who showed me this?
This special report is the third by the Economist Intelligence Unit since the
credit crisis erupted in August 2007. In the first report, we looked at the
implications of a financial meltdown on the global economy. In the second, we
considered the wider economic effects, including the risk of a 1990s, Japan-style
collapse in the US. This time we focus on the political fallout from the crisis. To
sharpen that analysis, we have created a new social unrest index that identifies
where the risks are greatest. We have paired that with a new set of scenarios
that chart possible paths for the global economy.
Awesome.

Possible Paths? That would have been helpful in 2006. I’ll give you possible paths.
My Followers stand by me because I constantly say I have no frickin clue about “the political fallout.” My captains are women like Nudge who wish I would choke to death. I wish I would choke to death. It certainly would be easier and allow Bunn to ascend. Yes. Bunn is moving up.

bunn, thanks for the article link. I’m wading through the PDF now. I like the direction, but wonder if they go far enough. Matt obviously posts these links to boost his doomsday preparation business and web site traffic. I’m sure he’ll get a Nobel Peace Prize one day, if they still have such things.
